I have spent much of the late morning attempting to discover if I could somehow record what I was doing on the iPad with a desktop computer. I think there may be a way to do so on the iPad 2 using an HDMI adapter, but not so with the first gen iPad. It is a bummer because I was going to attempt to find a note taking app which could have functioned as a virtual white board. I have not lost all hope, but my vision does not appear to be, at best, not easily implemented or, at worst, it may not even be possible to execute.
On a more positive note, I have been updating iDevices to the new iOS 5. There are a number of excellent features that have been included in the update. Given the integration with the Lion OS, I may have to consider looking into upgrading my OS. The problem is I really like Snow Leopard and I am not sure how well Lion will work on an older iMac.
Dan,
ReplyDeleteYou can do this by using the Pencasts app for iPad. However, you will need a Livescribe pen to use the app. Let me know if you need a pen. I have an extra one still in the box that I will sell to you--or, anyone else for the matter--at a generous discount.
